The QPINOX consortium held their seventh face-to-face meeting by teleconference in June 2022.

In this final experimental phase the application properties of the developed sheets were assessed in detail. Welded joint were prepared and assessed for joint strength and hardness.

Corrosion assessments i.e. general and localized were carried out on the sheets. The role of the microstructure on the corrosion resistance was assessed via several specialized techniques including scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) and scanning Kelvin force microscopy (SKFM).

Finally, the microstructure of the final 3 alloy sheets was studied at the nanoscale by means of transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
